Hendrick White grew up amidst the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in Southern California. Early on, he realized that helping others provided great satisfaction, and hoped to find a career that provided opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives.
The prospect of endless waves and miles of beaches lured Hendrick to attend the University of San Diego. As a first-generation college student, Hendrick studied English and Literature with an emphasis on writing and critical analysis. University of San Diego’s focus on community and justice further inspired him to pursue a career where he could use his talents to help those facing great adversity.
Hendrick took his first legal job over fourteen years ago in San Francisco. As a paralegal, he quickly learned that helping plaintiffs who have had their life upended due to the negligence of another truly fulfilled him. In 2014, Hendrick joined Coopers LLP and has helped hundreds of clients get back on their feet after experiencing tragedy.
Hendrick graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law night program with a certification of specialization in litigation. Due to his work ethic, grit, and perseverance, Hendrick finished in the top quarter percentile of his class while working at Coopers LLP during all four years of law school. Hendrick received four academic awards, made the Dean’s List each year, and was a recipient of multiple endowment scholarships. Additionally, Hendrick served on the Moot Court Board and competed on GGU’s Moot Court team at the Traynor Moot Court competition. In addition to being a first-generation college graduate, Hendrick takes pride in being the first in his extended family to become a lawyer.
Hendrick’s free-time activities generally revolve around music. He is a student of the violin and guitar and takes every opportunity to experience live music shows and festivals. He enjoys traveling with his family, especially to places with warm sandy beaches and idyllic sunsets. He can often be found on the “Wiggle” commuting to work or riding through Golden Gate Park on his bicycle.
Hendrick strives to better his clients’ lives by utilizing his skillset, knowledge, and experience to ensure that their recovery is maximized and claims efficiently prosecuted. Like many, Hendrick believes the opportunity to represent a client is the ultimate honor.
