Rebecca brings a rich multicultural perspective to the team, having been born to Latvian parents in North Carolina and raised in New York City. After serving in the United States Army, she relocated to San Francisco to pursue higher education at San Francisco State University, where she studied Political Science and Pre-Law.
During her academic career, Rebecca distinguished herself as President of San Francisco State’s nationally ranked Moot Court team. Her leadership culminated in a historic tournament victory during her final semester—the program’s first oral advocacy tournament win since its establishment in 2017. This experience solidified her passion for social justice and the law.
At Coopers LLP, Rebecca works diligently with the team to ensure administrative needs are met with efficiency and precision. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she remains actively involved in the legal community by mentoring current Moot Court students at San Francisco State, helping them refine their oral argument techniques. She also teaches fitness classes at a local gym, demonstrating her commitment to holistic well-being.
An avid traveler, Rebecca has visited 12 countries so far and she plans to explore many more in the future. When not traveling, she enjoys hiking the beautiful trails of the Bay Area, bouldering, crocheting, and holding out hope that the Toronto Maple Leafs will finally win a Stanley Cup.
