Tim grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and moved to the Bay Area to attend Stanford University where he obtained a B.A. in Political Science.
After graduation, Tim joined Coopers LLP as a Legal Assistant. This position was his first exposure to the legal field, and he quickly became captivated by plaintiff-side personal injury work. Over the years, Tim climbed the ranks to Case Manager before becoming Pre-Litigation Manager in March 2024.
As Pre-Litigation Manager, Tim provides support and guidance to the members of his team, helping to ensure cases are managed efficiently. Tim is motivated to resolve cases without court intervention, with the ultimate goal of saving his clients time and money. Tim has a particular interest in health insurance liens; he enjoys finding clever arguments to maximize lien reductions, and therefore maximizing his client’s recovery. In addition to his Pre-Litigation Manager duties, Tim manages a docket of pre-litigation cases, helps organize events like the firm’s annual Supermarket Street Sweep, and provides technical support at trial.
An aviation enthusiast, Tim earned his private pilot’s license at 17. In his free time, he enjoys flying around the country, watching Detroit Tigers baseball, and exploring the many neighborhoods of San Francisco.
